Police Arrest Kidnappers Of Petroleum Minister’s Sister

Ms. Agama, was abducted in the state capital, Port Harcourt on October 21, 2014 but was rescued on Wednesday, October 29.

The police in Rivers State have reportedly arrested two people in connection with the abduction of Ms. Osiya Agama, a sister to the Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke.
The Police Public Relations Officer, for the state, DSP Ahmad Muhammad in confirming the arrest of the suspects said:
“The Rivers State Police Command wishes to inform members of the public of Benjamin Bob Manuel’s arrest. He was arrested around Nembe water front on November 9.”
“He is the leader of the gang that abducted Osiya Agama, the sister to Diezani Allison-Madueke, in October. His accomplice, Whokows Ekine was also picked today.”
DSP Muhammad reportedly added that the suspects had confessed that they were indeed behind the crime.
