ABUJA — Kogi State indigenes in the Diaspora have endorsed the candidacy of All Progressive Congress, APC, for the November 21, 2015 governorship election in the state,
Prince Abubakar Audu, promising to attract deluge of foreign investments into state if Audu is elected.
The group, however, called on the electoral empire, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and the security agencies to provide a level playing field for all the candidates of the political parties taking part in the election so as to ensure a hitch-free poll.
Operating under the aegis of Kogi Renaissance Forum, KRF, the group in a statement signed by its coordinator, Engineer Acheneje Marcus, affirmed confidence in the work-ability of the blueprint Audu recently presented to the group.
Engr. Marcus noted that in addition to the blueprint for development, that the candidate’s sense of judgment, experience, exposure and track record encouraged the group to give him the endorsement.
“With such a war horse, one is sure that he will create conducive atmosphere that will encourage international investors into the state.”
