Amaechi’s Younger Brother Attacked

Chidi Adi Amaechi, the younger brother of the Governor of Rivers State and Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC)

presidential campaign, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi, was violently attacked in the early hours of Wednesday.

A statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to Amaechi, Mr. David Iyofor, said the younger Amaechi, who is a student of Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State, was viciously attacked by assailants in his accommodation in the school.

He said the young Amaechi was attacked  with machetes and life-threatening cuts and injuries inflicted on him. “At present, doctors say his condition is critical,” he said.

According to Iyofor, “We must note that the assailants did not remove or steal anything from Chidi Adi’s room
