Potiskum - Members of the military have reportedly fled angry
residents incensed by the spate of bombings in Postikum, Yobe State.
The
flare of tempers followed the death of 47 students and the injury of
about 80 others when a suicide bomb detonated at the Government Science
Secondary School on Monday.
According to police, the suicide
bomber disguised as a student blew self-up at the school's assembly
ground.
Angry mobs protested the second suicide bombing in the
spate of a week by mocking the soldiers.

the irate crowd.

off the scene.
Contacted moments after the incident, the Yobe
state Commissioner of Police, Markus Danladi, who confirmed the bombing,
