NADIA BUARI SICK OF EBOLA

Click for Full Image Size
The ongoing Ebola menace in this side of Africa has indeed caused panic amongst citizens of affected countries and it’s neighboring, meanwhile education on the killer disease has been destabilized.
Sadly, passionate actress Nadia Buari has been affected by the inability of authorities to provide essential education on the disease, this prompted her to enlighten her social media following on Ebola.
Also in a short video Nadia Buari entreats everyone to Prevent, Protect and Project, she sturdily believes Africa will rise above Ebola.
She also implores other African celebrities to apply their influence to educate their fans on the disease.

Obasanjo killed students' unionism says Pastor Bakare

The Convener of Save Nigeria Group and the General Overseer of Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has accused former President Olusegun Obasanjo of killing students' unionism in the country when he was the military Head of State in 1978.
He made the allegation at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Kuto, Abeokuta, on Monday. The occasion was the 2014 anniversary of the International Day of Students. He said Obasanjo, as the then Head of State in 1978, used brute force to repress the students during the 'Ali Must Go' protest.
Some students were killed in the protest. One of them was Akintunde Ojo.
Delivering a paper titled, “Good Governance: Sustainability of Democracy, the Role of Students in the Forthcoming General Elections,” Bakare said it was unfortunate that students' unionism had been hijacked by unserious students.
He added that not only had students' unionism fallen from its pinnacle of intellectual doggedness and ideological astuteness, it had also lost its activist steam, become a mere appendage of ruling political parties and a tool in the hands of corrupt politicians.
Tracing the history of students' unionism from the colonial days, he noted that it suffered a fatal blow in 1978.
He said, “General Olusegun Obasanjo's government ordered the brutal suppression of that protest. Live bullets were unleashed on protesting students. As we proceeded outside the University of Lagos main gate, I narrowly escaped death, as Akintunde Ojo, the young man standing just beside me, was gunned down.
“Through that incident, Obasanjo carved his name on marble as a villain of democracy.
“I did not mince words when opportunity presented itself in November of 1978, when I pointed to his face and said, 'This government possesses power without compassion, might without morality and strength without sight.'”
While arguing that students' unionism had been hijacked by never-do- wells, he said the height of this fall was the conferment of the title “Defender of Democracy” on Obasanjo in 2005 by students' body.
He said, “The apotheosis of the perfidious degeneration of students' unionism occurred in 2005, when the National Association Nigerian Students decorated Gen. Obasanjo as a 'Defender of Democracy.' Yes, the same Obasanjo who masterminded the brutal repression of unarmed students who were merely registering their displeasure over hike in fees.”
Bakare also frowned on the role played by students' leaders in the botched third term bid of Obasanjo. He said NANS shamelessly campaigned for Obasanjo's life presidency agenda.
He said, “In essence, Obasanjo killed students' unionism in Nigeria. As a military Head of State, he killed National Union of Nigerian Students by brutal repression and proscription.
“When Obasanjo returned as civilian president, he killed NANS and made it a shadow of itself.
“Upon the foundation of corruption of students' unionism, NANS has become weak and factionalised in subsequent administrations.”
He then called on the student body to embark on a journey of rebirth to return to the good old days of student activism.
“You must rid yourselves of cultism and other self-destructive tendencies and take back students' unionism from hoodlums and charlatans.
“You must restore students' unionism to its glorious days. After undergoing such a rebirth, the students' union must become a shining light to the dark polity,” he said.
The state Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, at the event, warned the students to shun politicians who might want to use them for thuggery before, during and after the general elections.
He said, “Don't allow any politician to manipulate you or use you for election violence. Tell them when they come to you to go and use their own children.”

CBN meets bank MDs as naira crashes

Click for Full Image Size
The naira, which has been under pressure in the last few weeks, on Monday crashed against the dollar to N173.20 at the interbank market, causing panic in the financial sector.
There are also indications that this has prompted the Central Bank of Nigeria to call all bank chief executive officers to a meeting in Abuja in a bid to save the naira from further crashing.
A top CBN official, who spoke under the condition of anonymity because he was not authorised to speak on the matter, said, 'The CBN is trying to employ moral suasion now since efforts to prop up the naira in the last few weeks have not brought any result. The CBN is trying to meet the bank CEOs to persuade them to take measures and actions that will bring the naira up.
'The CBN believes that some banks are advising their customers that have major future obligations to bring them forward because they don't know what the exchange rate will be in January. They want them to assure their customers that nothing will happen to the naira in the near future.'
Analysts believe that aside investors who have brought their obligation forward, the activities of speculators and foreign portfolio investors have combined to increase the demand for dollars at the interbank level.
'The activities of speculators as well as foreign portfolio investors are bringing up the naira. This is the time the CBN needs to come up and tell us the outlook for the currency. They also need to stop the 10k spread for sale to counterparties,' a forex dealer, who spoke under condition of anonymity, said.
The naira last traded above N173 mark in February this year when President Goodluck Jonathan suspended the former Governor of the CBN, Mallam Lamido Sanusi, analysts said.
It traded at N169 to the dollar on Friday. It however fell by about N4 on Monday, barely 24 hours after the Federal Government unveiled new austerity measures aimed at cushioning the effects of the falling oil prices on the economy.
Financial and money market analysts said the market was reacting to the new string of austerity measures unveiled by the Economic Management Team on Sunday.
'The market is reacting to the new string of austerity measures unveiled by the Federal Government on Sunday; the demand for dollar is very high now,' an Ecobank analyst, Mr. Kunle Ezun, said. 'Nigeria is an oil-dependent nation and anything that happens to the oil revenue will affect the economy. Investors and market operators are factoring some of the new measures into their plans; this is why you see the naira falling by such a big margin a day after the announcement,' he added.
Money market sources revealed that the naira closed at N173.20 on Monday, despite the CBN's intervention at the foreign exchange market to prop up the currency.
The CBN, it was learnt, asked banks to bid for $2m each in a move to shore up the local currency, but the lenders avoided the forex auction as the central bank was restricting the re-sale margins to curb speculation.
The naira has gone through difference comport levels at the interbank market in the last few weeks, trading between N167 and N172 to the dollar, according to market analysts.
Ezun said, 'It is like the naira is trying to find a new comfort level at above N170 to the dollar now. It used to be around N168 and N169. I, however, believe as the CBN comes up to assure the market, the naira may appreciate back at the interbank level soon.'
But the Ecobank analyst warned that the CBN would 'need to act as quickly as possible. They need to bring it back to below N170.'
'The CBN is empowered to support the naira. It will not allow it flow freely. If it does, it will lead to huge depreciation or devaluation.'
An analyst at Afrinvest West Africa Limited, Mr. Ayodeji Ebo, said he was not surprised by the CBN's action, noting that it 'is implied devaluation at the interbank market. It is not looking at devaluation but depreciation; this may lead to depreciation. Demand at the interbank has risen significantly at the interbank level and I am not sure they can curtail that demand.' Punch

Open Letter to Christians in Nigeria and All Over the World on SCOAN

BY:THE CHRISTIAN WALK

“You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the LORD?” If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed….” ---Deuteronomy 18: 21-22.
“Should you say to yourselves, “How can we recognize that a word is one the LORD has not spoken? If a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD but the word does not come true, it is a word the LORD did not speak. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; do not fear him…”---Deuteronomy 18: 21-22(New American Bible Version).
This is my last and final missive to Christendom on Mr. Temitope Balogun Joshua and his demonic congregation. After this article, I will not comment on either this man or his activities until 2017 as I have stated in previous articles on him and his satanic activities. If you have a friend, colleague, neighbor, an acquaintance, son, daughter, uncle, brother, mother father, buddy, or any relative that attends any branch of SCOAN anywhere in the world, inform him/her or them of what you have read in this column. My duty as a redeemed child of the Living God and His anointed genuinely called into His ministry is to warn the unwary, the ignorant and the deceived. I do not need to repeat it for the umpteenth time; Mr. Temitope Balogun Joshua is NOT a genuine man of God but a high Satanist indwelled by demonic spirits with the ability to perform miracles and wonders. His so-called SCOAN is not a Holy Spirit-anointed church and all of you that are worshipping there are being deceived and led astray.
As the Sovereign Lord God Almighty instructed us His genuine messengers in Ezekiel 3: 17-19: “"Son of man, I have appointed you a watchman to the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from My mouth, warn them from Me. When I say to a wicked person, 'You will surely die,' and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. Yet if you have warned the wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered yourself.…”Furthermore, the Lord God Almighty, the King of kings and Lord of lords stated in Ezekiel 33: 8: “When I say to the wicked, 'You wicked person, you will surely die,' and you do not speak out to dissuade them from their ways, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood.” I have discharged my obligation and duty as a man of God to all worshippers at Temitope Joshua’s demonic enclave. As I pointed out last week in this column in my open letter to Mr. Temitope Balogun Joshua that between now 2014 and 2017, there won't be any ministry called and known as the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) any more, I am repeating same for the last and final time. If this so-called satanic ministry you currently worship survives beyond 2017, then the Lord God Almighty hasn't called me as a man of God. This is how those of you who will ignore this warning will know that I-Moshood Ademola Fayemiwo-am a genuine man of God truly called by my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; between now and 2017, what has never occurred in Nigeria will take place for the first time in Nigeria's history; a devastating earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter Scale will swallow the whole of that enclave where you congregate among yourselves and with Mr. Temitope Balogun Joshua as your demonic leader and where he deceives spiritually-ignorant people at Ejigbo in Lagos, Nigeria. Nothing will be salvaged and it will be widely reported in the local newspapers and all over the world. This is the distinctive sign for you reading this letter as a follower of TB Joshua to know that there is a Greater One in me-the Holy Spirit-than Satan and his demons that are in Mr. TB Joshua. Here is what the Holy Spirit says I should tell you as a follower of Mr. TB Joshua at the Synagogue of Satan: "At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven." (Revelation 11: 13). Now about you who are reading this open letter and dismiss it because you're already sucked in by Mr. Temitope Balogun Joshua's enchantment, I have discharged my spiritual responsibility to you; by warning you of the day of terror and anguish coming on the Synagogue of Satan at Ejigbo, Lagos, Nigeria. You ignore this prophetic warning at your eternal peril. Mr. Temitope Balogun Joshua is spiritually finished and his house of cards and demon are coming to naught.
FROM MY MAIL BAG THIS WEEK
Dear Dr Moshood Fayemiwo, I thank you so much for enlightening us about what is happening at the Synagogue Church of All Nations- SCOAN. I have been there once but to be precise, I don't understand the church that's why I stopped and am not convinced by the preaching going on in that church. I admire your great command of the scripture. May the Lord God Almighty continue to multiply you both physically and spiritually in Jesus name Amen--- Nnamdi Bernard Leonard. Omnia Academy Favara Agrigento Italy
Dear Mr. Leonard thanks for your letter. It’s good that you allowed the Holy Spirit to minister into you so you will understand the spirit that is at work at that demonic enclave known as the Synagogue. Majority of the people going to TB Joshua’s hose of demons aren’t interested in God’s salvation but looking for quick answers to their problems. TB Joshua knows and that is why he has bewitched these gullible souls with his enchantments and deceptive miracles. As our Lord Jesus Christ Himself warned us in Mark 13: 22-23: “For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. But take heed; behold, I have told you everything in advance.” Your duty and mine is to warn these people and pray for them so that they can leave this demonic enclave and give their lives genuinely to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
---------------------------------------------------------------.
In mid-2013 I was drawn to your column having previously brushed it off. I have read all non-political articles in your column several times over. There is power in your write-ups and they are Holy Spirit filled. You are an excellent teacher. You will never know how many lives you have touched and improved. Taste and see that the Lord is good.....We (readers) have to pass on your column to others for their salvation and spiritual growth. God Bless you brother in Christ – May the Lord God continue to bless you in the mighty Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen---Mr. M. A. North East London, UK
Thanks Mr. M.A. Good to hear that lives are being saved and many more are spiritually enlightened by what the Holy Spirit is doing in this column. This is what He has called me to do and I am eternally grateful to be used for His utmost Highest.
----------------------------------------------------------------.
Dear Sir, I want to say thanks for your expose of Mr. Temitope Balogun Joshua and hos SCOAN. The thing is as a body of Christ, and someone with the zeal and passion for God we should be praying for God to root out the weeds. I will join in this prayer but also, that when the Judgment of God falls let there be no casualties. One more thing; when God calls people he may have a witness. This is not to say that God called TB Joshua. No! When God called me, he called me alone. God calls people alone. The reason my wife knew before we got married was because God showed her even before I knew we were going to get married. Albeit, good point, not only TB Joshua but all other fake churches in and around the world. Thanks and God bless!
Mr. Toate Ganago (location undisclosed).
Dear Mr. Ganago, I never wrote that when a human being is called by the Lord God Almighty, He calls people in twos, what I wrote is that when the Lord of lords and King of kings calls any person into ministry, He demonstrates your calling by showing you and other people witnesses as proofs of your calling. Please go back to that article and re-read again paying special attention to the 7 requirements that any genuine man or human of God called by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ must fulfill. Satan and his demons too also call people to demonic ministry like Mr. TB Joshua. Your wife was your witness to God’s calling on your life. The Sovereign Lord of the heavens and the universe including all that are in them does not do things concerning the issues of salvation and eternity in secret. The Birth of our Lord Jesus Christ was not done in secret and His Resurrection was not done in secret either as Acts 1: 2-3 told us: “…until the day when He was taken up to heaven, after He had by the Holy Spirit given orders to the apostles whom He had chosen. After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.” Thanks for your feedback.
--------------------------------------------------------------.
Dear Sir, It is my joy to write you and congratulate you on your recent article titled: “Babylon the Great Is Fallen Is Fallen and Has Become a Dwelling Place of Demons":-Open Letter To Mr. Temitope Balogun Joshua Of Synagogue Of Satan, Ejigbo, Lagos, Nigeria of Saturday November 1, 2014. I am a Christian and born and brought up in the true Bible way. I have been saying the same thing about this man called Temitope Joshua of SCOAN and his satanic ministry anywhere I have the opportunity to speak and discuss with people. Most time it has been war because, most people blindly believe and follow this man and any opposition to this kind of people will always be concluded by his spiritually-ignorant followers and defenders saying; “Touch not my anointed and speak not of a man of God badly.” I have read as well a couple of your articles but, this last one is a master stroke that has destroyed this satanic man and his church of devil. It really motivated me especially at this time of my personal problems and it goes to tell me that, there are still genuine men of God in this our world. I will personally like to speak with you on phone for spiritual advice and prayers. My telephone numbers are: ------------- (undisclosed for privacy protection).
I will be pleased sir if, you can leave your telephone contact for me in your reply so that I can call you and the day and time that I can call. You can as well find me on Facebook: “removed for privacy). I live in Lisbon, Portugal. Thanks---Mr. A..S.A, Lison, Portugal.
My direct telephone number in Chicago, Illinois is 773-660-8917. Please feel free to call me anytime. Remain blessed in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Dear Sir, I commend you for the great job you are doing. May the Good Lord watch and protect you and your entire household in Jesus Mighty Name-Amen. Pastor Martins Nnoko Jubilee Christian Church International, Atlanta Georgia.
Thank you very much Pastor Martins, I know iron sharpens iron and you are one of fellow workers in the Lord’s vineyard praying for me. As Apostle Paul admonish us in 1 Thessalonians 5: 11: “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up…” I appreciate the spiritual back-up and it shall be well with us and our households in Jesus Precious Name, Amen.
------------------------------------------------------------------.
Dear Sir. Thank you sir for all your spiritually uplifting articles and may the Lord God Almighty continue to strengthen you. Nigerian needs people like you to enlighten them. Because of their greed and wickedness, the only thing they now know is miracle forgetting what Jesus told His disciples in the bible in( Luke-10:20). However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven. No one seeks for eternity again both their followers and their so- called general overseers; all they want is the world and the things in the world: money. Tell the so- called pastors and general overseers what is in the book of (Jeremiah-23:22) and again what happened in the Acts of Apostles, Chapter-8:9-20) about Simon the sorcerer. All miracles are not from the Lord God Almighty. In the early days when Pentecostal churches started in Nigeria without all these fake miracles that is everywhere now and their preaching of prosperity, no one cared for them. Because they were telling the truth then, the real word of the Jehovah Lord God Almighty, but now the native doctors have gone into the world disguising with their bible to make money rituals for them. Everybody is now going to what they think is a Pentecostal church but are not. God, please save us from the love of money. You cannot serve God and money at the same time. Don’t deceive yourselves please. (Matthew-6:19-34)---Mr. Charles Uzoma (location undisclosed).
Thank you Mr. Uzoma for your enlightenment. We should continue to pray that the spiritual eyes of people will be opened and their darkened heats will be enlightened by the word of God. Ours is to warn and enter into intercessory prayers on behalf of the wicked souls but ultimately, it’s the Holy Spirit that can convict people of their sins and liberate them from the demonic chokehold of Satan. Thanks for your letter.
------------------------------------------------------------------.
Thank you Dr. Fayemiwo for telling the truth to those human beings that have ears but cannot and do not want to hear. I strongly believe that the end is near for SCOAN and its likes. God will continue to guide and protect you and your ministry to the fulfillment of your prophecy. It must surely come to pass in Jesus name.... Amen. Regards ---Mr. Donald Nwachukwu. (India).
Thank you my brother-in-the-Lord. I pray with you that those that have ears will hear and listen to the Lord’s Word in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
-------------------------------------------------------------------.
Calvary greeting to you Dr. Moshood Fayemiwo in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ the Savior. I am a Nigerian, leading a ministry in Yaoundé, Cameroon. I have been following your column lately; I must say no one can do what you are doing without God being in him. I pray for more grace upon your life. Sir, I will like to request for all articles about TB Joshua and SCOAN to be forwarded to my email, I really need to sit down and read them and read them again and all over again. Thank---Pastor Olatunde Abolarin, Yaoundé, Cameroon.
Dear Pastor Abolarin, all the articles that I have written about Mr. Temitope Balogun Joshua can be assessed in my column dating back to January 2014 when I released by 2014 Predictions and Prophecies for 2014. Thanks and may God continue to open door of opportunities and avenue for His work in the beautiful nation of Cameroon.
--------------------------------------------------------------------.
Dear Dr Fayemiwo, I have been an avid reader of your column articles and recently the report about synagogue church in Nigeria. It was good news to us because we knew all along that T.B Joshua was not called by God because by their fruit you shall know them. Many believers have abandoned the true gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and set out on a journey of perdition. Many Christians today are not interested in studying the Bible and therefore are easily deceived and manipulated. Here was an interview granted by another pastor in Nigeria by one of the Nigerian national dailies. The Sun newspaper, Sunday, November 9, 2014.and titled -When I started this ministry I had only N20 in my pocket -Reverend Chukwuma Peters). This particular so-called man of God made a similar statement like T.B Joshua. --- He was asked this question by the reporter: How did you receive your calling? Here was his answer as recorded by the reporter:
“I think God gave me a calling into the ministry right from the womb. So, His calling upon my life is in-born. I was born towards the end of the Civil War. As soon as I was born, I was taken to the missionaries in the forest where they baptized me and named me Peter. The name was against my parents' choice because they wanted to name me Joseph. But the missionaries said no, insisting that my name must be Peter, "for he will head God's people." That was prophetic. Even, in the village in those days, people used to call me "apostle." So, I kept on growing and growing until Jesus came into my life, despite the fact that I was not ready to serve Him. But I yielded when I had an eye accident and became blind. It was on hospital bed in Onitsha, Anambra State, that the Lord appeared to me in a dream, opened my eyes and asked me to serve Him. Ever since then, I joined the process of serving Him which began with giving my life to Him, growing in the process and maturing in the process until my ministry grew into what it is today.”
Almost every person who runs a building in the name of a church is called by God in Nigeria. Thank you for your direction in telling our people the truth from the throne of Grace and may the Lord God almighty continue to protect you as his oracle.
Sincerely yours--- Mr. Davidson Smith Germany (email and telephone contacts for privacy reason).

Child Sexual Abuse: Recreating Tomorrow By Taking Definitive Action Today

BY:Nnaemeka Oruh

Statistics detailing the extent of perpetration of child sexual abuse is hugely alarming. Projections show that this statistics will increase if something is not urgently done. Therefore, the urgency of the situation demands that I do not waste time on preambles. So I will just get on with it.
Cases of child sexual abuse are not receiving adequate attention. In fact, while the cases skyrocket, less and less people clearly and completely understand what it means to sexually abuse a child. So this work is an urgent attempt to educate(and perhaps re-educate some others).Urgent because it is very important that we start this discussion now in order to teach as many people as possible while our children can still be saved.
Child sexual abuse simply refers to the engagement in sexual acts with a person under eighteen. Note that the word "consent" is absent in my definition. The absence was not fortuitous. This is because, a person under eighteen cannot really give consent. So even if the person accepted your sexual overtures, it is still deemed sexual abuse as persons under eighteen cannot legally give consent(in some states in the US, it is 16). I believe that a lot of people do not know this. Thus if we try to explore cases of child sexual abuse using this particular criterion, we will find out that so many people would be found guilty of having sexually abused a child one way or the other. That is why it is important that this piece of information is shared.
There is also the tendency for people to believe that sexual abuse especially as it concerns children has to do with only penetration. This is not true. Child sexual abuse is not only conformed to actual penetration( either with the penis, finger or otherwise).Sexually abusing a child also involves the following:
i) Exposing the child to the view of the sexual organs of others. This may be in the form of allowing them see pornographic materials; see the nakedness of others such as their parents, relatives, etc.
ii) Engaging in sexual activities in the full view of the child. Note that sometimes when for economic reasons the parents or guardians of children are forced to engage in sexual activities in the same room where the children are, most times, the children are aware of these actions and consequently view them and are affected. Such action is thus a clear case of sexually abusing the child.
iii) Inappropriately touching the child's private parts.
iv) Allowing the child to watch movies or programmes rated 18.Programmes rated 18 mostly contain sexual scenes and these scenes would impact the child and make him or her vulnerable.
The above listed underline something very important; that child sex abuse is not only limited to penetration, or touching of the body (in other words, it is not only physical),but also could come in the form of psychological abuses. It is thus very important that we re-educate ourselves and others so that we can guide against all forms of child sex abuse.
Earlier, I clarified that a person under eighteen cannot legally give consent(apart from some places where the legal age of consent is 16). Thus, it is now important that I explain that if for any reason,as an adult you have engaged in any form of sexual activity with somebody under eighteen(or 16), then you have sexually abused him/her. It is important that this is made known because a lot of people do not know that "dating" somebody under the legal age of consent is tantamount to child sexual abuse. It does not matter if he or she made the move or if you believe the child accepted to date you. No matter the excuse, the fact that you engaged in sexual acts with such a person simply means that you have sexually abused him or her.
Having pointed out the various forms of child sex abuse, it is now important that we evaluate some of the core ways in which one can know a sexually abused child. The points raised below are definitively not exhaustive but they frame the various ways in which one would know a sexually abused child:i) Pain in the private parts (vagina, anus, penis)

ii) Discharges (especially foul smelling ones)

iii) Bruises in the private parts. This can be true for both the girl child and the boy child.
iv) Psychological disturbances that could lead to abnormal behaviours such as bed wetting and defecating on himself or herself especially when this was not the case before.
v) Strange behaviour by the child (such as trying to seduce somebody or showing signs of sexual knowledge; becoming withdrawn; performing badly in school; acting anxious; acting abnormally before a particular person.)
The above stated are some of the ways in which one may know an abused child. Once we notice any of the above, it is right to find out the truth and in the case that there has been a physical abuse, it is strongly advised that the child is immediately taken to a hospital for attention.
The importance of taking the child to the hospital immediately is so that tests can be run to determine if any sexually transmitted disease has been passed on to the child so that treatment can commence immediately. Also, in case the child has started menstruating, so that conception would be checked. This is why it is very important that such cases are reported within 72hours of their occurrence.
Statistically, the rate of child sex abuse in this part of the world is alarming. I believe that having gone through the various forms of abuses we discussed above, it is quite obvious that a large number of Nigerian children have been subjected to some form of sexual abuse or the other. The unfortunate thing is that child sexual abuse is perpetrated mostly by people who are around the children; fathers, mothers, uncles, aunties, cousins, maids, drivers, security men, neighbours, grand parents, teachers, etc.
I know that listing certain class of people above would raise eyebrows(like parents and grandparents),but this is the ugly truth as so many stories have confirmed. The child is mostly comfortable with people who are close to him or her and thus such people are the best positioned to take advantage of the child. It is thus strongly advised that in raising the child, extreme care is taken to ensure that exposure to people who may wish to sexually abuse him or her is reduced to the minimum. Also, the child should be taught to understand that his or her private parts are private and thus nobody(not even his or her parents) has the right to touch them inappropriately.
The Child Rights Act demands that we protect our children from any form of abuse. This legally empowers us to do all we can even for the children of other people. Thus we should all form a community police and ensure that our children are well protected from child sex abuse. When we notice a case of abuse, it is pertinent that we immediately swing into action by contacting any child right organization available and making sure that appropriate action is taken.
Also, it is important that the points shared here are conveyed to as many people as possible in order to engender a much needed public re-education. A lot of people in our society do not adequately grasp what it means to abuse a child sexually hence the need for this re-education.
The world as it is, is already mired in so many problems. While we struggle to find solutions to the many problems confronting our world today, it is pertinent that attention is also reserved for our future. By correcting and re-educating as many people as possible today, we can at least begin to create a better future. And the future as it is, is all about our children.

THE BLOOD OF THE CHILDREN. THE SHAME OF A NATION

 BY: Femi Fani-Kayode

Forty nine innocent little boys were butchered by Boko Haram in their schools on 10th November 2014 as they resumed class in Yobe state. The question must be asked: is there any limit to the depravity of these monsters and those that secretly support and encourage them?
I may not know much but one thing that I know is this: the spilling of innocent blood has terrible consequences for both the land on which it is spilt and for those that spill it. I am talking about long-term generational consequences.
This is the more so when that blood is the blood of children. Our girls are kidnapped from their schools, abducted, raped, married off and sold into slavery and we call ourselves blessed.
Our little boys are bombed to smithereens in their schools, their young lives are snuffed out, there is no sense of outrage and no-one is brought to book yet we call ourselves blessed.
Our level of sensitivity has been seared to a point that we don't care anymore and we are no longer moved when we hear about the horrors being inflicted on our people yet we call ourselves blessed.
When will we appreciate the fact that there is something fundamentally wrong with us? I had every reason to feel so sad on the day that the news from Yobe came but my initial sadness was quickly overwhelmed by a deep and burning rage.
I was (and still am) enraged by this latest act of pure evil and I condemn it in the strongest terms. When I told Nigerians three years ago that Boko Haram and their secret sponsors and friends had to be crushed like vermin even if it meant wiping out whole communities that secretly supported them virtually everyone said that I was wrong.
Many within and outside government counseled that we ought to adopt a ''softly softly'' approach towards them and disregarded my counsel. They even subjected me to insults and ridicule for taking such a strong stand and such a hard line at the time.
Yet unlike them I saw the evil behind Boko Haram long before it fully manifested and I recognized it for what it was right from the start. Few others did.
The saddest aspect of it all is that even now most Nigerians still can't see or feel that evil despite the daily bombings, killings, abductions and kidnappings.
The truth is that until Boko Haram takes over the entire north and knocks on the gates of the south Nigerians will continue to act as if the whole thing is no big deal and that whatever atrocities that Boko Haram commit really doesn't matter. That is how short-sighted, insensitive, depraved and ignorant we have become.
We are a people that have no conscience and we no longer care when our citizens are treated like filth or slaughtered like flies. There is no other country and no other people in the world that suffers from our particular type of affliction. We are suffering from a strange disease.
Nigeria is not blessed, she is cursed and she is in dire need of deliverance. If we were not cursed how can we act as if all is well and how can we be normal after 49 of our school children were bombed to death in one fell swoop.
This single outrageous and horrendous act is enough to traumatize most nations and most people for the next ten years, but not us. Most of us are indifferent: we shut it out and act as if it never happened.
We are a strange land of strange men and women. We are a land where the nepthalim hold sway. We are a land that enjoy to watch others suffer injustice, persecution and wickedness and where the youth would rather rant on facebook and twitter than risk their lives by marching on the streets and demanding change.
We are a land that despise the learned and that celebrate ignorance. We are a land that hates the truth and that worships mammon. We are a land where courageous and righteous men suffer hardship, humiliation, injustice and persecution whilst evil men are reverred and exalted.
We are a land that claims to love God but that does everything that is contrary to His counsel and His will. We are land where brother eats sister and where sister eats brother. We are a land where parents trade off the future, the destiny and the glory of their own children for a pittance and where men sell their souls to the devil for fame, power and wealth.
We are a land where children are killed and maimed, where women are dehumanised and turned into desperate harlots by virtue of the circumstances in which they are forced to live and where evil is nurtured, encouraged and glorified.
We are a land that continues to dance, to make merry and to rejoice even as it's weakest and most vulnerable citizens are butchered and even when it's very own children are slaughtered like christmas turkeys and sallah rams. I see all this and I say shame on us all: from the highest to the lowest we have all failed. From the pauper to the prince and from the servant to the king we are all guilty.
Our hope and salvation lies in one thing and one thing alone: the love of the Lord God of Hosts, the mercy of the Ancient of Days and the grace of the Living God. I have little doubt and abundant evidence to prove that He still loves us despite the evil that is inherent in us.
If we repent and call on His name He shall deliver us from our fanciful and destructive delusions, our manifest and inexplicable greed, our insatiable love of money, our obsessive lust for power, our glorification of all that is ungodly and evil and our shameless self-hate and He shall make us whole again. His love for us is never ending: it remains faithful and true and it is as constant as the northern star.
As a matter of fact it is by the power of that love alone that we have not fallen over the brink and totally destroyed ourselves by now. It is by His grace and mercy that we have not suffered or experienced a Rwanda-type genocide in our shores or walked on the road to Kigali by now.
A couple of weeks back a courageous Canadian soldier was killed by an insane terrorist who stormed the Canadian Parliament and who held their political leaders hostage until he himself was killed. The whole world rose up and condemned this callous act and rightly came to a standstill.
Most importantly the Canadian government and people honored the dead and paid him tribute after tribute. It was very moving and highly appropriate. That soldier deserved no less. Everyone in Canada, and indeed throughout the civilized world, was talking about it and people were very sad.
That is how normal people and normal countries are meant to react to such things and that is how sane and civilized people are expected to behave. Yet in Nigeria it is not so. In this country hundreds of our people are slaughtered in 100 different ways and abducted every week and there is no sense of panic or alarm.
There are no tears, there is no urgency, there is no passion, there is no anger, there are no demonstrations or demands for those that commit this evil to be brought to justice, there is no support for our security agents and military, there is no sense of national outrage and most important of all there is no genuine empathy or sympathy for the victims and casualties of terror even though most of them are women and children. It is just business as usual and our nation is flying on auto pilot. Let us hope and pray that we don't eventually go into free-fall and crash.
May the souls of the 49 young boys that were murdered in cold blood by a Boko Haram suicide bomber in their school on 10th November 2014 rest in perfect peace. May God forgive us for our sheer insensitivity, wickedness, selfishness and callousness and may His love never depart from the shores of our nation.

2face IdibiaSinger At War With Kinsmen As They Threaten To Kidnap His Mother

A source based in Benue tells Pulse that the singer has not been in good terms with his kinsmen. The straw that however broke the camel's back was his inability to finance the building of a 'proper' family house to bury his late father.

2FACE AND HIS MUM

Nigerian singer 2face Idibia is currently at war with the youths of his community who have accused him and his mother of being disrespectful towards his kinsmen.
2face was in his village Amufu in Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State last week, Thursday, November, 6 and he was not well received by his kinsmen. An eye witness in the village where 2face buried his father told Pulse that the youth threatened to beat up 2face and kidnap his mother Mrs Rose Idibia.
The eye witness revealed that the youths were angry with 2face for not erecting a standard family house where he was supposed to bury his dad. When his father died, Pulse learnt that his kinsmen gave him some requirements that must be met before burying his father. Some of the requirements were that 2face was to build a proper family house in Amufu where his dad would be buried and thereafter repair the road leading to the village for easy access for guest coming for the burial.
2face according to Pulse sources agreed to the requirements and started building a house.  The singer however stopped half way with the excuse that he had ran out of money which made the kinsmen angry. Further investigation by the elders of the family revealed that 2face’s mum had ordered his son to stop the building project.
“It is common knowledge that 2face’s mum ordered him to stop building the house. She doesn’t see the need of him building a house in the village where he won’t be visiting anytime soon. She also feels 2face’s uncle in the village will take control of the house,” the source told Pulse.
Angry youths of the village made their displeasure known to 2face and his mother immediately they entered the village for the burial. They pelted 2face and his family with stones and made moves to fight him, threatening to kidnap his mum.
They threatened to stop the burial and demanded an audience with 2face’s mum who with the help of the community’s Catholic Priest pleaded with the kinsmen to allow the funeral to go on and promised to complete the project after the burial. According to Pulse sources, 2face’s mum denied ordering her son to stop the project.
2face is not liked here in his village and in the Idoma community as a whole unlike the other two music stars Terry G and Blackface. Terry G for example has a big house he built for his family here in the village even when he hardly visits,” the source also said.
After his father was laid to rest, 2face was said to have hurriedly left the village. Him and his mum were not hurt as there were protected by tight security. His wife, Annie Idibia and his manager Efe Omorogbe were also with him.
All efforts to get words from 2face’s publicist have been unsuccessful as his phones were switched off as at time of this report.
This is not the first time 2face is having a run in with the youths of his community. In 2012 during the burial of his grandmother, youths of the village made it known to him that he wasn’t welcome in the village.
Last Christmas during the Mark The Ball event organised by Senate President David Mark in Otupko, 2face was also booed by the crowd.

WizkidMusic Star Shows Off N100k Shoe...And A Big Butt

Wizkid is all about the money and ladies.

Wizkid who is in the United Kingdom recording new songs including a track with Tinie Tempah, isn't all about work. In an obvious time out from his studio duties, Wizkid flaunts his latest pair of Guiseppe Zanotti shoes on his Instagram page.
In an artistic shot of aimed at showing off his new money status, Wizkid takes a shot of his new shoes which are made by the popular designer Guiseppe Zanotti. The shoes are leather camo loafers with gold toe caps. The shoes look cool, but that's not the money shot. The shoes are reportedly worth N100, 000.
In the picture is also an unidentified female showing off her ample posterior. It's good to see Wizkid showing us that he is creative in another field. Maybe when his music career is over, he can pick up the camera and become a pop photographer.
